The Great Cornholio!

My 3 year old has never before seen ‘Cornholio’ or any Beavis & Butthead episode for that matter, but the otherday, at random, he just started raising his shirt over his head and walking around with his arms dangling. He looks like Cornholio when he does this, so I had to capture this! He’ll get a big kick out of this when he’s older.

Session Details:
Sessions are laid back with no rush for plenty of time to capture the best portraits possible. Sessions typically last 1-2 hours, longer if necessary, so please plan your day accordingly. In order to make your portrait session as relaxed as possible and to customize it to your needs, I only schedule 1 – 2 sessions per day and only 12weddings per year.

Casting Call: New Born Babies (Less than 2 weeks Old)

I am in need of newborn baby models, less than two weeks old. I have some new props I would like to try out.
Photo sessions will occur in the privacy of your home, so you do not have to worry about getting the baby out, or even getting yourself out. I know how tired you must be. But newborns only stay little for a short while, and after 2 weeks is when the baby acne sets in. So this 1-2 week time period is crucial for these types of photos.

Casting Call: Maternity Models

I am in need of Mother’s to be, in their 7th-8th month to model for Maternity portraits.
Sessions will take place in the privacy of your own home, or may be in a public place such as a park or down town.
If you are interested in modeling and are currently in your 7th-8th month of pregnancy, please email me to schedule your session.

Moon flare

Tonight I was looking at the stars and could see Orion. I tried to photograph it but it was just too far away and too small to look like anything more than tiny dots. So I took a picture of the moon instead. It was soooo bright and Since I was using such a high ISO (3200) and my widest aperture (2.8) and a star filter, it cause a great amount of lens flare, which created a really cool effect. So I decided to use this for my image of the day…

I am wanting to branch out a little with my photography and need some help in doing that, so I’m holding a casting call.
I’m looking for 3 women interested in a TASTEFUL Boudoir photoshoot, in the privacy of their home. (Think Victoria’s Secret)

Project 365 - Image #4: My sweet baby

Today I was in the back yard creating some photographs of some letters I noticed. I realized that the arm rest on the glider in our yard looks like a G and the posts on the fence look like an H. Well my youngest son decided he wanted in on the fun. Any time he sees me with the camera, he wants me to take a photo of him so he can see it on the back of the camera and on my computer later. So here’s my sweet baby, cheesing a grin for me.

Project 365 - Image#3: Give me an A!

When I am out and about, driving to work or the store or carting my kiddos from place to place, I notice that alot of the things I see along my way looks like various letters of the alphabet. I captured one today when I was running Errands.
The letter A. 
I like how the road blocks form the letter A, and with they way they were positioned, there was a nice repetition of the A which made for a pleasing composition.

Project 365 - Image#2: Meet Sheldon

Here is image #2 for 2009. I’ve been so busy and almost forgot to post it! This is Sheldon, our pet turtle. My father-in-law found him in his back yard last summer. He was a tiny little fella when he was found. We’ve had him for about 6 months or so and he’s grown quite a bit. He’s fun to watch swim around in his aquarium or bask under his sunlamp.

So for my 1st image capture of 2009…
A view of Downtown Fort Worth. Taken today, 01/01/09 at 8:49pm atop the parking garage at Harris Methodist Hospital in Downtown Fort Worth. This was a 30 second exposure at f/32, ISO 800 at 54mm.
