Bob, our Elf on the Shelf.

Bob is our Elf on the Shelf.  He comes to live with us during the month of December to keep an eye on my youngest son and report back to Santa to let him know when he’s being good and when he’s being naughty.

One day, he left a note to remind my son that he needed to clean his room, so my Son wrote him back to let him know that he’d get the job done!  The next day, Santa paid a personal visit to Bob at our house to check in and see if my son cleaned his room as he’d promised.  Santa was kind enough to let me photograph him as he visited with Bob.  Read more... I had such a blast playing with and photographing this little newborn in his home last week!  He was such a good baby and let me do just about anything I wanted with him!  And his big sister Sophia was fun too.  She’s a busy little body, and so cute!  Little Caleb’s mommy thinks he is the best Christmas Present ever!

I had fun photographing the Johnson family in my studio last month.  The boys crack me up!  I’ve known them since the oldest boy was in diapers and have had the joy of watching all of them grow into delightful young men.  Aren’t they so cute?!

This family is so special to me and I was very excited when I received the call to photograph them again.

I have been photographing this family since Jackson was only 6 months old.  You see, Jackson has congenital Myotonic Dystrophy and was not expected to live much longer than 6 months.  The doctors told them he would not make it to his first birthday, he would never be able to eat on his own or talk or walk or do anything little boys do.  Through faith and determination, this little boy is now almost 3 years old.  He is eating solid foods on his own now, he is able to say a few words now and he is beginning to walk on his own.  He LOOOOOVES to hear his daddy sing and play the guitar and he will be starting preschool next year.  Way to go, Jackson!!  You rock!  Read more... It was a lot of fun photographing the Rangel-Pena family for their Christmas portraits at the Gaylord Texan Hotel recently.  The decor at the hotel is gorgeous!  The gingerbread house candy store was my fave!  I’ve enjoyed watching Arwen grow into a beautiful little girl.  I have photographed her since she was born and look forward to seeing how much she’s grown and changed between portrait sessions.  I love this family, they are some of the nicest people I’ve met.  Merry Christmas!

I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Danielle Pugliese and Seth Johns in Denton on the evening of 11-11-11.  It was a beautiful wedding and the reception was held at the very lovely Wild Wood Inn in Denton.  And they had the most delicious wedding and grooms cake I have ever tasted! The cakes were from Candy Haven & Cakes in Denton.  Super yummo!
