I LOVE the colors this family chose to wear for their portrait session.  It was perfect for the outdoor fall colors of our location at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens.  I really enjoyed meeting this family.  A very friendly bunch.  I look forward to working with them in the future.

Johnson Family | Fort Worth Family Portraits

I had fun photographing the Johnson family in my studio last month.  The boys crack me up!  I’ve known them since the oldest boy was in diapers and have had the joy of watching all of them grow into delightful young men.  Aren’t they so cute?!

This family is so special to me and I was very excited when I received the call to photograph them again.

I have been photographing this family since Jackson was only 6 months old.  You see, Jackson has congenital Myotonic Dystrophy and was not expected to live much longer than 6 months.  The doctors told them he would not make it to his first birthday, he would never be able to eat on his own or talk or walk or do anything little boys do.  Through faith and determination, this little boy is now almost 3 years old.  He is eating solid foods on his own now, he is able to say a few words now and he is beginning to walk on his own.  He LOOOOOVES to hear his daddy sing and play the guitar and he will be starting preschool next year.  Way to go, Jackson!!  You rock!  Read more... It was a lot of fun photographing the Rangel-Pena family for their Christmas portraits at the Gaylord Texan Hotel recently.  The decor at the hotel is gorgeous!  The gingerbread house candy store was my fave!  I’ve enjoyed watching Arwen grow into a beautiful little girl.  I have photographed her since she was born and look forward to seeing how much she’s grown and changed between portrait sessions.  I love this family, they are some of the nicest people I’ve met.  Merry Christmas!

I had such a great time photographing Crystal’s family.  I went to high school with Crystal and haven’t seen her in 20 years!  It was so great to see her again and meet her beautiful family.  All the kiddos were so much fun.  And talk about adorable!  Love them!  This session took place at the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards.
