Boudoir Photography

Details:
A boudoir is a lady’s private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning “to pout“.  Historically, the boudoir formed part of the private suite of rooms of a lady, for bathing and dressing, adjacent to her bedchamber, being the female equivalent of the male cabinet. In later periods, the boudoir was used as a private drawing room, and was used for other activities, such as embroidery or entertaining intimate acquaintances.  Read more... Last August I posted about a beautiful young up-and-coming writer, Sheniqua Waters, touted as the next ‘Danielle Steele’, that I photographed for her debut romance novel, “Slave Girl”.

Red Rose Publishing published it as an E-Book that Sheniqua sold on her website. In less than a year, Sheniqua’s debut novel became a best selling e-book, and has now gone to paperback and can be purchased at Amazon.com for $10.99. It’s a great book. If you are into romance novels, you really should check this one out!

The Next Danielle Steele

I got to photograph a very beautiful and talented young woman, Sheniqua Waters,(the next Danielle Steele) for portraits she needed for the back book cover of the book she wrote and is having published. Its titled, Slave Girl, and is a historical romance novel. She’s working on getting a website up for her book.
I like to post a few from each session, but there were so many from her session that I thought were beautiful, I had a hard time choosing….
