Mrs. B. | Fort Worth Boudoir Photographer

Posted on December 17, 2010

A couple weeks ago I had a great time photographing this beautiful mother of 2, to gift to her husband for Christmas!  I created her an 8×12 album, 4×6 little black book, and a 10×10 12 month wall calendar of her images.  He’s going to be a happy hubby on Christmas morning!  Here are just a few of the gorgeous images from her session.  She was a lot of fun to work with.

Here are a few shots from the very exciting day…

Boudoir Photography

Details:
A boudoir is a lady’s private bedroom, sitting room or dressing room. The term derives from the French verb bouder, meaning “to pout“.  Historically, the boudoir formed part of the private suite of rooms of a lady, for bathing and dressing, adjacent to her bedchamber, being the female equivalent of the male cabinet. In later periods, the boudoir was used as a private drawing room, and was used for other activities, such as embroidery or entertaining intimate acquaintances.

Nick & Sheryl Sears {Dallas Wedding Photographer}

Posted on August 31, 2009

I had the pleasure of photographing the cutest couple’s wedding this past Saturday.  They have the cutest love story ever.  Sheryl has literally been head over heals in love with Nick since 5th grade!  It wasnt until some time after Highschool that he realized he felt the same way about her too.  The two got married at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Catholic Church and School where they first met.  The reception was in the school cafeteria.  She had the cutest wedding cake, hand made by a good friend of hers.  This was one of the cutest weddings I’ve been to.  I had a great time.

Hampton Family Portraits 2009 {Valley Ranch Family Photographer}

Posted on August 6, 2009

I had a great time photographing the Hampton family this past Sunday.  We captured aLOT of great portraits of them.  Adorable little Nathan was not at all interested in photographs, he just wanted to climb on the rocks and run and play, and that is just what he did.  We captured some beautiful smiles on him while he had fun playing.  And sweet Matthew, with those adorable chubby cheeks!  You just want to kiss them all day!  And the little momma, she looks so radiant and beautiful, just 10 weeks after giving birth.  I wish I could’ve been as radiant.

Project 365 - Image#5: A visit from Jack Frost

Posted on January 5, 2009

Texas weather sure is crazy! Two days ago we were wearing shorts and today its 32 degrees. Jack Frost graced us with his presence and left his calling card…

Project 365 - Image #4: My sweet baby

Posted on January 4, 2009

Today I was in the back yard creating some photographs of some letters I noticed. I realized that the arm rest on the glider in our yard looks like a G and the posts on the fence look like an H. Well my youngest son decided he wanted in on the fun. Any time he sees me with the camera, he wants me to take a photo of him so he can see it on the back of the camera and on my computer later. So here’s my sweet baby, cheesing a grin for me. :)

Project 365 - Image#3: Give me an A!

Posted on January 3, 2009

When I am out and about, driving to work or the store or carting my kiddos from place to place, I notice that alot of the things I see along my way looks like various letters of the alphabet. I captured one today when I was running Errands.
The letter A.

I like how the road blocks form the letter A, and with they way they were positioned, there was a nice repetition of the A which made for a pleasing composition.

Project 365 - Image#2: Meet Sheldon

Posted on January 2, 2009

Here is image #2 for 2009. I’ve been so busy and almost forgot to post it! This is Sheldon, our pet turtle. My father-in-law found him in his back yard last summer. He was a tiny little fella when he was found. We’ve had him for about 6 months or so and he’s grown quite a bit. He’s fun to watch swim around in his aquarium or bask under his sunlamp.

Project 365 - Image #1

To challenge myself this new year, I have decided that for 2009 I will create at least 1 photograph every day of 2009 to continue to grow as a photographer.

So for my 1st image capture of 2009…
A view of Downtown Fort Worth. Taken today, 01/01/09 at 8:49pm atop the parking garage at Harris Methodist Hospital in Downtown Fort Worth. This was a 30 second exposure at f/32, ISO 800 at 54mm.

Rangel Family

Posted on December 15, 2008

I had the pleasure of photographing the Rangel family at the Dallas Arboretum yesterday. It was super windy, but we managed to crank out a few good portraits for them. They were a fun family to photograph and the kids were so cooperative. I wish I could say the same about my own kids!
Here’s a sneak peak of a few from their session.

WeeWeeChu

Posted on December 5, 2008

My mom sent this to me in an email. Thought it was too cute!

It’s a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, ‘Hey, Mamacita, let’s do Weeweechu.’

Oh no, not now, let’s look at the moon!’ said Rosita.

Oh, c’mon baby, let’s you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it’s the perfect time,’ Pedro begged.

‘But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon.’ replied Rosita.

Please, Corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me.’

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, ‘OK, one time, we’ll do Weeweechu.’
